Prayer

  Dusky lotus bloom,
Rising from waters,
Muddied by trampling elephants.
Blossoms in the morning sun.
Attracting bees by its
Sweet perfume.

Dusky hued Sadhu,
Rises from waters,
Muddied by trampling bathers.
He prays in the morning sun.
Attracting fellow seekers by his
Sincerity and his resolve.
