They came
and she weeps even now the holocaust seethes with drops of tear awashed with anger Raisina hill move please, move towards a place, where they feel safe Remove their tears stoke our dreams not Anger Raisina Hills do not cower with shame or fear They are there to protect not harm Our libidos And tell those policemen that it is not tear gas they want They want profusion of tears so that Blood is not Wasted. Raisina Hills. There is a prayer The prayer says Punish them Punish us if we do the same for tears will not cannot be vanquished by wooden sticks battering us They, we will continue to speak And, moving cameras will say: Truth, truth, truth. |
