Daana Paani: An Awesome Break to a Journey
by Nikhil Sharda Bookmark and Share

Have you ever been caught in a situation when you want to eat something and are nowhere close to finding it under any circumstances? It happened with me while traveling from Ambala to Chandigarh on a Monday morning for a meeting.

In the midway, I suddenly had this irresistible craving for ice-cream. But aware of all the roadside dhabas and their low-hygiene, I could not understand where to find the ice-cream. But thankfully on our way we saw this newly opened food joint Daana Paani which looked similar to a modern day metro food joint with all the amenities and well-trained staff.

As we moved into the building, the first thing that drew my attention was the huge parking space that lets you park your car without any struggle. Also, it was clean and there were guards to take care of your vehicle and ensure no loss occurs to anyone. The cafeteria was well-made and lit with colorful paintings of bollywood films. What added to my interest were the amazing multi-cuisine options available in a no one’s land by some of the most promising food brands like KFC, Baskin n Robins!

One other thing that left me watching was the staff who serves you with an everlasting smile. The place was hygienic and like a breath of fresh air with no dust around. The serving time is incredible and they make sure to not let down their customer’s expectations. I was glad to have found Baskin n Robins there as I could finally have the ice-cream. At the same time, I decided to have some food looking at the spacious, clean and in a way, overwhelming food joint in the mid of nowhere.

Another thing that came to me as a pleasant surprise was the fast service, in terms of serving the ordered meal without compromising on the quality or taste of food. The staff was well groomed and in uniforms making an impression on everyone. The amenities included washrooms, amazing seating arrangements that anyone would love in a food joint.

Also, the most important aspect of the food joint, i.e., food is something that’s so light and well-cooked that it doesn’t give you that dozing feeling once you are done eating. For anyone, looking out for a simple yet delicious meal, this is the go to place. Not to forget they also have amazing interiors, so if you are someone like me who is fond of colorful different interiors then trust me this place doesn’t let you down as they have all the popular bollywood movies painted on their walls in a larger than life size.

So, next time you are on your way to Chandigarh and searching for a food joint that can offer quality food at a reasonable price Dana Paani is your go to! Not to forget, the services will be a delight and you will be more than happy to have visited and tried eating at this place as the humble staff bids you a bye with their effortless smile.
