Are you fond of this new actor Siddhanth Chaturvedi?
‘Gehraiyaan’ is his film. Siddhant Chaturvedi (born 29 April 1993) is an Indian actor. He starred as a teenage cricketer in the Amazon Prime web series 'Inside Edge' from 2017 to 2019 and ventured into Bollywood in the supporting role of MC Sher, a street rapper in the musical drama Gully Boy (2019), which earned him widespread critical acclaim and nationwide recognition, in addition to winning the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor and a nomination for Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Chaturvedi also was ranked in The Times Most Desirable Men as 19 (2019) and claimed to be 15 (2020) and now in 2022 sure to zoom to No. 1 or 10.
Chaturvedi is the ‘villain’ as well as ‘hero’ of the recent Amazon Prime, much publicized and fairly acclaimed by the media movie ‘Gehraiyaan’ meaning ‘Depths’.
Story? Yeah. It is a new-gen youth story where two gung-ho couples with loads of money meet on an exotic cruise. That rendezvous turned out to be fatal. The male of one pair is an unabashed playboy and falls for the female of the other couple and openly flirts with her. She too succumbs and they goe ahead with their stealthy, steamy and sleazy dalliance. It is published that the ‘Hot Scenes’ were directed exclusively by Intimacy Director Dar Gai and her team of art of shooting sex scenes. Then what?
As usual the girl’s pregnancy and a huge financial crisis faced by the playboy turn everything upside down. An angry scuffle with his lover in that romantic and exotic cruise ship the lover boy accidentally finds his watery grave.
What then? Nothing; everybody goes scot-free. The dialogue writer seems to have very little vocabulary but for his frequent use of the four letter word at the drop of a hat. Same way, Deepika Padukone, Ananya Pandey, and the hero Siddhant Chaturvedi shed their clothes or wear the minimum or tattered designer modern attire barely covering their body parts.
I already heard the squeaky screams of the media about the ‘hot’ scenes between ‘Deepika and Siddhant’ and now I may hear the screams louder from the younger gen through their favorite social media too!
Yes. None can fathom the abysmal depths of human minds!
