The title of book is centered on the philosophy of Bhagavadgita, the most important element in the highly acclaimed book. The author has explored various beginnings for tracing out philosophy from the Bhagavadgita, a sacred book. He presented different schools of thought and methods to study the philosophy. Indeed philosophy is rooted in fundamental nature of knowledge, reality and existence. Science and philosophy, rational thinking, and quotes of philosophy are succinctly studied and presented.

The quotes Laxmiprasad selected are really gems of knowledge. Philosophy of Bhagavadgita is wonderfully depicted and are of literary merit and justify the spirit of the philosophy. Philosophy is typically of Indian Dharma and principles of honesty and good over bad. The same tempo continues in other Slokas that Bhagavadgita is predominantly known for.
