Will there be no cure for Diabetes?

People all over the world become chronic victims of diabetes. It affects people of all age-groups. This disorder has taken away millions of lives irrespective of age, gender, class and race. It has become a global threat now. The reasons are fairly obvious. Lifestyles changed the lives drastically. Diabetes is not a disease but a disorder that reflects a man’s disorderly food habits. When disorderly life is attacked by diabetes, the insulin hormone stops secreting and man is thus a victim of multiple attacks. Hormonal imbalance is said to be the sole reason for such disorders. A man is inevitably the victim. He has to maintain a healthy diet supplemented by more proteins and less carbohydrates. Leafy vegetables are the sources of more protein sources. Diet is taken in restricted quantities. Diabetologists prescribe the dose of medicines to be taken at regular intervals. The insulin levels have to be properly balanced. For hormonal imbalances, only control is the best form of regulation. For diseases, only cure can be found out.

Researchers are successful in identifying the causes of low insulin secretion in the human body. But they are not able to identify the cure. It is because of this reason that millions of people who are affected with diabetes are experiencing fatal damages to the vital organs like brain, kidneys, and heart. Diabetes affects all human organs including the retina.  It has become a burning problem now. New medicines can only be helpful in controlling the sugar levels to a certain extent. A permanent cure has been continuously missing since decades.

Will there be a cure for Diabetes? This question haunts the minds of the affected people. They suffer from multiple organ failure. A prolonged use of medicines could also lead to complications. When all the vital organs are paralyzed, life comes to a standstill. Yet the medical research has not found out the cure when it successfully found out for other disorders. Life span has been cut short by the attack of chronic disorders.

The younger generation have fallen victims of diabetes at a very early age of 13.

In India, the metropolitan cities have become Diabetic capitals. The alarming proportions that Diabetes cause are severe damages to the organs. In such cases organ replantation is mandated which demands an investment of huge sums of money. Medical research has not advanced much to the demand of patients. The medicines that are currently used in treating Diabetes are of temporary relief. People desperately look at the permanent cure.

The Governments, the NGOs and the Medical Associations should collectively conduct a serious research and find out a lasting cure for Diabetes. It has been a few decades that some adverse effects were detected among the diabetic patients. A long term use of medicines could also spell a disaster for the people. The diagnostic tests and treatment expenditure have been mounting up every year. It is becoming increasingly difficult for the poorest of the poor to deal with the financial problems. There must be some hope against the hope that the world will soon have a cure for Diabetes. A serious and comprehensive research will have to be undertaken to find out the cure. The days of chronic suffering will soon be over when the ray of hope will bloom on the world.
