Preface to Infinite Shades of Love

“You compose, I propose
You decide, I abide” … Rajender Krishnan

‘What I write and what you read,
is the reflection of my thoughts,
Which just slips away,
as a tiny toe on the stage of ice,
With not an imprint left for the foes. ‘

The constellation of stars align themselves to the continuity of my thought process and help them to be receptive to the Gift of Nature that is bestowed on each one of us.

One of the ardent disciple had once said: “Love is the very foundation, beauty and fulfillment of life. If we dive deep enough into ourselves, we will find that the one thread of universal love ties all beings together. As this awareness dawns within us, peace alone will reign.”  True is the saying and the underlying essence as love which is like the fragrance of a lily overlaps you when you are drenched with love.

Beloved! Learn to love from the kiln
It burns for the entire day
Yet no vapor comes out of it. -Shah

Life is never easy: we must make it easy-sometimes by ignoring something, sometimes by accepting something. Life is a journey; we must walk hand in hand in harmony with it, all along the even and uneven labyrinths to experience the different shades of life, to know, to see and to feel how the play of Nature works in its fullest glory. In a way through life experience, we get connected to the mysterious phenomena of nature within the boundaries of our reach as they express the events, occasions, the entities of the past through the lens of one’s memory.

In a way life is like a book. We must read a chapter daily whether we want or not.  There is sorrow on some pages, happiness on another page or excitement on some page, but if in your life, you don't turn the pages, you will never know what's on the next page?  In a way life is a true teacher, it teaches us to learn through the experiences by crossing the milestones that one comes across in the process of ongoing journey of life and it teaches as to how to withstand all the shocking jerks of life, the hard and harsh paths to be trodden, the soft silky fragrance of all the flowers that bloom for us. But all becomes meaningful to enrich your life during the journey, when love is the core center of your life. When your life is rich in love, you have achieved your purpose for being here.

Love is a very difficult word to define, perhaps because its reality approaches spiritual dimensions which are beyond time and space, and thus, our comprehension.  Love is not fear, hurt, hate, pain, ego, jealousy, union or separation, and possessiveness or suppression. Love can be perceived more easily through the effects that it creates. We cannot see the wind, but we can see its effects, such as the leaves moving, branches swaying, or the sound of air rushing. We know wind exists by its various side effects. Similarly love creates feelings of attractive pull and unity that we feel toward others on meeting and interacting with them.  It breeds understanding, compassion, forgiveness, happiness, excitement, peace, joy, fulfillment and a desire to be helpful in any way we can. Mother Theresa was a living example of this unselfish love that she mothered so many orphaned infants with brimming love.

Love is expansion beyond our ego limitations. It is the ability to create a zone where one is ready to care enough to sacrifice one’s own pleasures and desires when others need you in time of critical situation. Love is the force that brings about unity and harmony as it brings the hearts closer to each other. We are spiritual beings, going through human experience and love is our basic nature. However, our ignorance, fear and adverse thinking, attachments have buried it so deeply within us that it is sometimes difficult to bifurcate the tenderness of love as to how it should be maintained and manifested. Loving others steadily, independently of their behavior, is not an easy achievement. If we cultivate love in our personal lives and radiate outwardly the peace and joy within our hearts, we can have a collective positive effect globally.

The highest form of love is pure Love that one bestows on another and it is purely needed without any attachment or some selfish motivation. Loving others means wanting them to be happy, healthy and successful in the ways that they are in a comfort zone. Love does not create the pain we feel when someone leaves us or rejects us. That pain is generated by our dependency upon that person for our security, pleasure or affirmation. Needs and attachments create fear, pain and suffering. Love creates happiness, fulfillment and the experience of our true selves. We are creatures of habit and any decision we make is our choice, and the upcoming fruits of our life sprout and is ours as a return gift of the choices made. So basically, we are responsible for all the do’s and don’ts that balance the input and output account of our life.

In this book too you will have live experiences of different shades of life penned by some matured and some budding writers that can add a lot more to this topic in different spheres of life as: Metaphysical Love, Celestial Love, A basket of Roses,  Images in still waters, Amma’s Gospel, Great treasure by Demi too to enrich our lives. As rightly said by Ramakant Sharma in his foreword: I urge the readers here to enjoy the articles themselves and dive into the amazing world of words and their meanings.

Life is not about steps you have, but the footprints you have left behind. Knowing that we are born to be history we still continue, pursue to live to be lost when the last hope shatters. It is at this particular moment that a streak of twinkling light enters the darkness of life

So start loving self to know the truth through experience,  mindfully taking each step, such that Life can go through different experiences enriched with the Universal colorful shades of rainbow of love at the horizon of our outward and inward journey of life.

It is well said in this quote:

Don’t Live as a Person, but try to Live as a Personality.
Person will die one day,  But your  Personality will Live Forever.
