I am sure many may frown on seeing the title. It is like taking a sweet; or having fun; having a great meal; enjoying an entertainment. But, think of all the above a bit in excess. For many, it continues to give happiness because this whole world is meant for epicureans. So, enjoyment has, to tell the truth, no limits. 

True. Ageing is a pleasure; imagine yourself from the day you were born, started uttering gibberish, slowly turning into words and growing up, studies, qualifying; well, most of us still consider the school and college days heavenly and days of wonderful enjoyment. 

Step into the days of love, marriage and having children. These days keep everyone busy and ambitious, demanding them to develop in professional, and personal lives in all areas. Though worries keep cropping up now and then, those were handled by our wisdom. Achieve great heights in professional life as well as personal.

But once retired, and one needs to spend time, it slowly turns into a burden. The ageing weighs on many people, if not on all. 

Activities and preferences that were once a pleasure slowly turn a burden on ageing. Even attending our daily chores slowly turns into challenges. Apart from the physical activities, the vision, hearing, walking, and above all memory, plus the presence of mind, everything takes beating in different ways and forms. 

Above all, the most nagging and despicable part is the temper that gets ignited for many old people due to the above problems. 

I started feeling many of them, but I (have to) accept them as part of my life, and many do. Yet there are moments which make us vulnerable and make one feel desperate. 

One needs to be happy for whatever work they could do, eat, watch, speak, see or read and hear. 

The popular adage goes like this: what cannot be ‘cured’ has to be ‘endured’. That is the apt attitude here.
