Vote is Basis of Participative Democracy. Vote, non-negotiable. Vote, non-transferable. Universal Franchise. One vote per Person. But, The latest CEC final nail of tinkering brought to surface, the volatility of Vote. The CEC with primitive, ulterior and malicious intentions, played havoc across India. Awakened, concerned Citizens throughout India raised eyebrows in doubt. National Opposition is on streets and roads.
As Indian Streets and Roads are attracting GenZ and elders in expression of Anguish, Parliament and Government cannot be rogues and insensitive. Supreme Judiciary and President inclusive Parliament have to protect the Rights, Foundations and Interests of Citizens and primarily, the basis of this edifice, Vote.
Enough of Revisionism by Election Commission.
As Indian Constitution provides, with birth or otherwise, Primary, Basic Right of Vote is not governed by Election Commission. EC is just custodian of Lists of Votes and its complete duty is to ensure Constitutionally warranted handling of Elections.
Becoming Citizen by Birth and on attaining age of eligibility, becoming Voter is just Constitutionally established and must be supremely natural without any hassle. This natural process forms Human Rights and Civil Society.
Now, what is to be done in the light of dubious, clandestine, cunning and corrupt instances.
We live in technologically advanced, sophisticated, modern times. Recording of Birth details and provision of Aadhar, PAN, Passport and Ration Cards along with connected Mobile Number and Account Number in Government owned Banks are to the maximum extent, foolproof. As multinational trade platforms are capable to provide almost secure transactions, let the Administration not behave novices and not at all to hide behind alibis.
Throughout India, when Ration Receiving is safe and possible, this mess with Intensive Revisions of Voter Lists are mischievous and dubious with malicious intent. As per our Constitution, the Election Commission can at best, proofread the Voter Lists.
The inclusion is constitutional with valid, individual details of Birth Data and exclusions are highly sensitive only after Judicial Scrutiny. The latest Judicial Tribunals have also come into practice, beginning with West Bengal.
In the light of present dangerous circumstances, the priority and achievement of Indian Participative Democracy is highly secured Vote to each and every Citizen of India.
