Life and Death |

The journey of Life From Africa across far land bridges, Paddling unknown treacherous seas, Over crevasses and mountain ridges, Across desert, tundra and prairies. Be it over days, months or years, In ecstasy, apathy or in agony, Expending blood, toil and tears, With glee, want or parsimony. From ocean to continent, their lot, To all but survival, totally oblivious, Forever trying to fill life's leaky pot, Tantalus, Sisyphus and Orpheus. Can futile words in prose or verse Lend meaning to the incoherence Of life's journey, that we traverse From incontinence to incontinence. |
