Romance and Commitment
by Vidya Vardarajan Bookmark and Share

Time has lost the battle
Tamed by her charm
Even the wrinkle on her face
Broaden her beauty in a form

'Oh my Woman' in to her ears
Blooming with romance
Goes on with his praises
Not letting her commence

All these years together
He wonders how she never tainted
Cajoles her further
Admiring the beauty so maintained.

Woman laughs and looks away
Shyness surrounds her joy
Knows her man is in love today
Like a child's obsession over a toy

She longs for this special day
When he will be in the same temperament
He adores her in every way
Sparks of romance along the commitment.
