We all look up to vacation to be our self, aren’t we……! One of the best vacation that as a family we personally enjoyed is the stay on the hills of Manali. Perhaps better than any of our experiences. While I must acknowledge that each vacation has its own story to tell and unique in its own way. The climate in Manali is predominantly cold during winters, and moderately cool during summers. The average temperature during our travel period was -3 °C. Manali can be reached from Delhi upto Chandigarh and from there to Bilaspur, Sundernagar, Mandi. The road distance from Delhi to Chandigarh is 260 km and from Chandigarh to Manali is 273 km. The total distance from Delhi to Manali thus is 533 km. Manali has an airport which has easy access from Delhi by flight. The airport is also known as Kullu-Manali airport. Airport to Hill top can be covered by road which will take 30-40 minutes. One thing which has been common when one travels to Mountains is the beautiful landscaping, hospitality of people, clean sky with clouds touching and whispering in your ears in a serene environment. Manali trip between 28th -31st Dec 2014 was the place to be among the snowy peaks and pine trees with live snow fall and the clouds touching and passing by you which is why we planned our trip to have all these with us, live & cherish the moment. This vacation was special because each one of us enjoyed every moment together. That made this unique and special. Our suggestion to all fellow travelers is to visit this once during the above period, stay atop hill by booking in advance and enjoy every moment. Pani puri , Momo on the Maal road is worth trying. Apart from other activities Manali attracts adventure travelers, with hiking, mountaineering and river rafting the favored active pursuits.
