1. I have a "VISION BOARD" in my office. It has words and pictures of goals I need to act upon. It keeps me focused and inspires me to keep going in spite of setbacks. The words are written boldly and big. The words are action oriented. I write the words of project and ideas on the board. I also have the words "THANK YOU" on the board. My faith guides me to be thankful before I even reach my goal.
Your vision board can be on a bulletin board, a wall, refrigerator door or on the back of a door in your bedroom.
2. I have a "TREASURE MAP". This is a photo album book filled with pictures and words cut out from magazines. This book is my visual motivation of the people, places, things, travel, family and ideas I want to acquire and/ or maintain in life.
When you make your treasure map, use a lot of color. Use your imagination. Have fun with it. This exercise helps your creativity and imagination.
It can inspire you to become more specific and committed to your dreams and goals.
