An exponent of Hindustani Classical Music, Kala Ramesh was bitten by the haiku-bug in 2005. Since then, she has explored various genres like haiku, tanka, senryu, haibun and renku, (collaborative linked verses) and has been published in leading e-zines and anthologies.
