Saikat Mandal is a sports journalist, who writes about football for living. However, he is equally passionate about Indian epics, and shastras. He has been studying The Ramayana for the past few years, and he is fascinated by the versatile myths of the Ram-katha that exists in India and abroad.
His area of interest lies in studying the various recensions, editions, and myths associated with the epics. He wishes to do some fieldwork relating to epic-study in the future.
