Fathima Nadackal

Dubai,United Arab Emirates

I am a small town girl, hailing from the pristine valleys of Western Ghats, in Kerala. As the eldest of two daughters of a stout feminist dad went on to become a first-generation law graduate from the National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi.

Writing, Reading and Acting, which stayed live took a back seat when the bustle of professional studies took over. But every opportunity related to it, like editing or drafting, excited me even then.

Later, I moved to Dubai and was toiling hard to thrive in my career. On my year-end vacation in India, the pandemic hit and everything was locked down, which cost my job.

Sometimes, it is the worst hit that brings in the best fruit. I accidentally got a writing opportunity, which refurbished my old self.

Currently living in Dubai, with 16-month-old Arham & spouse. Working as Freelance Content & Copywriter, aspiring to pursue a career in my passion. I read & write both in Malayalam & English and Kamala Das is my absolute favourite.

Apart from writing, food & travel holds my interest. Trying out a variety of cuisine and attempting to prepare them at home completes the foodie in me.
