K. Govindan Kutty held senior editorial positions in Indian Express, Financial Express and India Today. Before he moved to print media, he was a radio journalist for ten years. He has authored ten books in English and Malayalam. An Intimate Story, life of T N Seshan, who made a difference to electioneering, made waves. His Malayalam book, Kalakshepam(Time Pass) and stories of late biscuit businessman Rajan Pillai and late finance minister of Kerala, K M Mani, and chief minister, K Karunakaran, also won critical acclaim. He lives in Thiruvananthapuram with his wife, Saradamony. They have a son and a daughter and four grandchildren, all in America.
