I am Purna Padmaja
Full of an undying spirit, and a smile that stays with me ever by my side.
I now reside in Hyderabad.
I spent much of my younger days in Calcutta (Kolkata now). I am very fond of taking part in dramas, debates, extempore and writing poetry.
I got married at a very young age, hardly out of high school. I persuaded everyone to let me complete my graduation. went on to do my post graduation and then enrolled for PhD in Psychology.
Writing down my thoughts in the form of poetry/ poems to capture my every joy, happiness, pain, & nature helped me sail through the ups and downs of life.
Except for a few poems that got published in my school/college magazines, my Father in law was the only person who really cared to read, correct and appreciate every line I wrote. He was an English teacher by profession!! A man loved by his students, well known for his kindness and the encouragement he gave. A person full of mirth, a person filled with positivity.
My friends recently got to know that I write, and ever since have been my greatest source of encouragement to come out and publish and write more.
I greatly indebted to them.
I still unsure how I will fare, but am ready to soar.
