I am a retired Civil Servant from Indian Railways. After my retirement in 2008, I have worked as a Financial Consultant in Railway projects for another 17 years.
I have had a passion for Artificial Intelligence (AI) ever since ChatGPT came to the world. Lately, as North India gets hotter and hotter, I have also developed an interest in Climate Change and Sustainability in general, and the implications for Indian Railways, in particular. I have recently completed a Specialization on ‘Climate Change & Sustainable Investing’ from EDHEC Business School, France, consisting of four courses on Science, Engineering, Finance & Policies of Climate Change as well as Climate Aware Investing.
I have some knowledge of web development. I created a memorial website for my late daughter Gazal (angelgazal.in) as far back as 1999. Thanks to AI, I have been able to recently develop some mobile-first web Apps through vibe coding. Among the Apps that I have developed are EcoRail India (ecorailindia.org) and IRAS Choupal (iraschoupal.org).
I am fond of writing and have written short stories on social issues as well as satires on bureaucracy.
