Down in the valley on the island of Maui it was like being in the womb of mother earth. The romantic atmosphere created here in Maui by the lush green forests, high-rise hills and the dense clouds seem to be enveloping the surroundings. Life celebrating life with us! We drove early morning around 2.00 am to go atop the hills in Maui to watch the rising sun. Our thanks to one of the tourists who took this spectacular shot while our eyes are glued to the horizon. The sun rises. Standing atop the hill it was a spectacular sight. I could spontaneously hear myself reciting the Gayatri Mantra and in those fleeting moments truly appreciate the harbinger of life. A close up of the Sun in all its glory. |
