Dr. J.Bheemaiah teaches Comparative Literature at the Centre for Comparative Literature, School of Humanities, University of Hyderabad. He has published five books and traslated a book of Telugu Dalit poetry into Englsh. He has also published several research articles to his credit on the marginalized/subaltern communities.
He has served as Warden and Deputy Chief Warden in the university. He has also coordinated UGC Remedial English and Grammar Coaching for SC,ST,OBC and Minority Students for four years. Besides administrative responsibilities, he has successfully finished ICSSR Research Project. Presently he is a imember of the Academic Council of the University.
