Roar of Silence

The deafening blow of silence
shattering the mind and the
freezing humidity numbing
The senses...

Darkness forming into unknown
shapes and shadows, beckoning,
bestowing and screaming in a
voice which can never be heard

The length of the sojourn is
shown on the body; a thousand
thorns of memories for every step
covered like mementos of a battle

Nothing can be seen except the
frightening image of imagination,
Nothing can be heard other than
the shattering silence...

No one to seek, ask or rely
No where to reach or nothing
to do except wait for the
moments which will not come

Wish to disappear, dissolve and
diminish; wish to vaporize, vanish
and perish; wish to be somewhere
something or anything other than me.
