Why Stars are Beautiful

To love 'tis not same as to desire
For one burns, while other's but the fire.

Easy it be to yearn Thee beside my arm,
Folly it is to seek the moon in my palm.

In darkness I live, and to the light I ask,
Why stars are beautiful but only in the dark.
