The Warmth

The warmth of your hands around my shoulder,
Really gave me a cold shudder
Whenever I recall that moment so tender
It's tough to resist the feelings my heart showers'

Thinking of how someone might adore me
Makes me feel really serene and special.
This charisma, this charm,
I hope is not just a deceptive illusionary plan.

I am entrapped in this cage of fancy,
I have fallen prey to your courtesy'
'Come again and hold me in your arms,
So that I feel so very secured and unharmed.

I don't really know if you meant that,
But this action will be commemorated ever,
As a sparkling gem in my memories,
As an enkindled fire in my soul.

That's my word,
Trust me.
I am not fake or a pretender.

Life has given me so many tears,
But how can I forget the smiles so dear.
Your presence is the reason I feel quixotic'
Your mannerisms are really exotic.
