Enter a throbbing fantasy
But things go wrong
 
Opportunities are missed
Intentions mismatched,
Signs misread
 
The hammer rises to strike
The cringing iron
But does not fall
 
Edicts generate transgression
Passions refuse equilibrium
Sex is the inscrutable excess.
