Tenacity

When I rise and fall
In the sea of life
I wish to learn my lesson
From that oyster
A stoic in the sea
Brave and bewitching
Passing through pain and pleasure
Healing its wounds from within
Moving and sailing forward
Bearing it all…to produce a pearl!
