Tenacity

  When I rise and fall
In the sea of life
I wish to learn my lesson
From that oyster
A stoic in the sea
Brave and bewitching
Passing through pain and pleasure
Healing its wounds from within
Moving and sailing forward
Bearing it all…to produce a pearl!

Comment The idea of self-healing is expressed through effective use of the imagery of movement, though wounded, an oyster moves forward!

Comment Yes, Madhavi, ore is smelted to recover gold, melted and hammered to make ornaments... ornaments of life too pass through trial and adversities. Well composed.
