A Tear to Smile
by Dr. Madhavi Godavarthy

  Tears and smiles come together
I want them all...
I want them both
Each without the other
Is like a day without night

A tear for you or from you
Both make my day
To smile at life and get a smile back is...
To have the flower and its fragrance too.

Comment Madhavi, the concluding two lines of your poem are prophetic. Very sweet composition!! Thank you.
