All the laughter, sound and play
Entertainment, exercise and fun
New would come now and then
Old concept of making friends
A pat with passion, tear of concern
Share a moment, allow a comment
Place in the heart, we used to cement
An evening meet, and casual talk
Near the corner coffee shop

All that caring, suddenly vanished
Like seized music from silent chord
Things I used to, now are gone
Time took a mighty turn
Technology, making us learn
Virtual laughter, software games
Concept now, new would add
At will and a click can block
To make calories and extra weight

A curious face and Knotted brows
Men of now, take as scrap
Say, olden ways, were waste of time
Whole world now, linked through .com
In solitude now I feel, that time golden
Is past memory, that would never return
