After All is Said and Done

What do we take after all is said and done?
Not a thing, not a single thing, not even one.
Do we owe anything to anyone?

What is higher? What is lower?
Can you delight in the scent of a flower?
And not be bored with you hour after hour?

Then you say your time has naught,
Of learning and growing your time is fraught.

Please look and see,
What is this simplicity?
Oh! What in the world - duplicity.
Totally filled with this Multiplicity.
Never ever fear to ever be.

For me I know there is no cure.
Could you share your heart once more?
You can -- Of this I am absolutely sure.

Is simple equal to "Simpleton?"
Play your games and know you won.
'Cause after all was said and done,
Is the time for lesson too far gone?
