It’s My Mistake, Baby!

It’s my mistake, baby,
I was so wrong to expect
Appreciation from you
At my success story,
Or wait for consolation
At my saddest times.

It’s my mistake, baby
I should have realized that
If you can’t be happy
To hear my happiest news,
You can’t be concerned
To know my saddest news.

It’s my mistake, baby,
I must have understood
That I mean nothing more to you
Than a simple, innocent,
Stupid, silly, poor girl
Who loves you like crazy!

It’s my mistake, baby,
I should have known
That you don’t give a damn,
That it doesn’t matter to you
Whether I smile or cry,
Whether I live or die!

Comment Say not so, Rupradha. A drop of tear from a yearning eye shall blossom in myriad colours, so shall yours. Love begets love, my dear sweet little one.

Comment Why seek consolation, let the tears dry,
If he abandons you,
If he never admires you,
Never ask him, never try!

I loved this one!
