Friendship

  Sometimes friendship
develops in the most
peculiar ways,
sometimes by instinct
perceiving a kind smile
far, far away,
all the way across the sea.

Words exchanges,
that provide meaningful
meetings of the mind,
letters transmit
golden thoughts,
familiarity finds warmth.

Random message
with much kindness,
revelations from the heart.
Souls are ignorant
of distance,
those are measures
for the mind.

Communicating is easy
once acquainted
with the depth
of a voice alive
and vibrant,
pure and clear
pouring from their inner self,
from a real, open heart.

Across Mountains,
valleys, shores,
waters moved by the wind,
like a bird
with magic wings,
all your essence
fly to me.
