Giving My Thanks

Each day I wake I am reminded
How sweetly I am Blessed.
A grateful heart beats in my breast.
For I have more than I'll ever need.
More than I'll ever eat or wear.
More than I could ever dream.
A life full of the fullness of life.

A God who knows me.
Calls me by name.
Who set His mark upon my heart.
Creating a home for me in Eternity.
Undying, unconditional love.
Extending outstretched arms.
Always to comfort, to cheer, to guide.

A man who loves me.
Cares for me.
Shares his name, his dreams, his goals.
Does his best to make life sweet.
Makes me feel needed, wanted - beautiful.
Proud he's mine.
Glad I'm his.

Successful, talented children.
Healthy, loving grandchildren.
Friends that touch my soul.
Inspiring me to embrace them as family.
Each night when I lay my head to rest.
I'm reminded how sweetly I'm Blessed.
With a life 'full' of the fullness of life.
