Frog Song

It is midnight, my symphony of frogs has returned.
My only thought, evoked by their blissful song...
Forever reminds me of touching you...
Somehow.

How farewells are painfully prolonged.

Tonight, re-made, and significant...
is another night sculpted, by memory,
bringing me one day closer,
reducing me into a silence....
occupied only by the taste
of sweetness upon my tongue.

Within the songs of nature's bliss
the stillness is impregnated with one desire.

Becoming an exquisite piece of music...
and the wish that it would take me .. beyond me.

Another minute passes..
more silence as my eyelids become heavy.

Drifting into weightlessness...
a movement or two
releases me from burden once again.

Rhapsody floating
in the stillness of the night
awakens me ..
again and again
Drifting in and out...
All night.

I am lulled once more
by their heavenly adagios
that rise and fall ..
and rise again.
