April Fool

Sandwiched between

Valentine’s Day and Easter

comes April Fool’s Day,

perhaps to remind us,

"Humour is the crown of friendship,

April Fool’s Day is its spring flower

that lies midway between love

and divine splendour…"

It makes the kids happy,

young girls pretend anger

and peers offer hugs in joy

and wish, ‘Have a good day!’
