  Admittance time once again,
Parents’ woes begin once more
standing in serpentine queues,
all through the night,
For it is first come first served.

Procuring application forms,
Filling up,
submitting and waiting
for interview.

The hassle once over,
keep fingers crossed
till acceptance comes,
keep trying in other places too.

Nothing but the best for the child
is every parent’s desire,
even if it means standing overnight
in front of the school gate.

Probably pay a donation
to get it
get in with some influence,
by hook or by crook,
it is to be got!

Child has got to put his first foot,
It has got to be his best foot forward.
Time factor is very important,
late comer sees the door -
ADMISSIONS CLOSED.
