Conversion

I imagined adversaries.
I have made them my friends.
For, I read somewhere,
if you cannot win over others,
go along with them.

The task has not been easy,
but it was not unattainable.

Time thaws trauma,
then a little bit of palliative,
a little bit of philosophising,
a little bit of reorientation,
one can turn foes into friends.

Because a lot is imaginary,
a lot is fortification
to protect from foes.

But call them over,
exchange pleasantaries,
reassure,
narrate your point of view.
They come round.
If not full circle,
at least half way through.

And the rest,
leave it just to time,
and fate.
