Theme: Love

Secret of Love

The secret of love, we are told,
lies in the lips of god.
To search it on earth then
shall not only be futile but absurd?

Many may concur to this and say yes,
But I shall differ and say no…

If love be a thorn,
thousand pricks
I shall take without tears.
If it be venom,
I shalln’t step back but with cheers
swallow immortality to gain.

If love be fire,
with no trace of fear
into it I shall enter,
its divine glow to capture.

If love be the darkness of the night,
each cloud I shall paint with it
that shall come down in torrents
to decorate each eyelid…

The secrets of love
I shall surely steal
from the sparkling morning dew,
beneath the deep ocean
in the womb of the oyster
I shall wake up a beaming you!
