Not Really 'Alone'!

Away from the homeland
Mind minds its ‘business’
But the soul ‘routes’ itself home…

‘Miss you’….'love you’….'take care’……'me too’!
Little words that fill in the blanks with life
Let’s thank the inventors
For a dream come true!

‘Skype’ or ‘Facebook’
'Tweeting' or 'chatting'
There is someone reading your thoughts
Who ‘likes’ or ‘dislikes’
Who watches and listens

Science with a human touch…for a human touch
A globe within a globe…a pla'net’
‘Accept’ it my ‘friend’

In a moving world
It is this virtual reality that moves us
Though without the real ‘old world charm’
We still ‘surf’ along and feel the world
Though…'alone’!

This poem is just the other side of the coin of the well expressed poem: 'Alone Among Virtual Crowds' by Prof. Siva Prasad Peddi.
