The Temple of Relation

Years of relation may break over a trifle
Years of disagreement may end with a smile.
How foolish is man to be swayed so easily
To build a castle with a trifle or smile.

Years of love, years of friendship
Erected on a base of sacrifice and patience
With the Lafarge of understanding
Painted with weather coat of laughter and smile
How can it break and batter?
Better evaluate the purity of your love
Sieve egos and ingratitude, the junk
From the temple of relation.

Years of variance may close with a shake
But where is the time to rebuild the shrine?
