Mighty Time

  Today is far better than tomorrow
Howsoever future may be brighter
Each moment armed with an arrow
Its pinch makes us a great fighter.

Precious presence of the present
Grown up out in a plot of the past;
Blessed is a struggling peasant
Happiness glows out in long last.

All pomp and show of human life
But is guided by the mighty Time
Sometimes soaring of the free will
Has a fall down from the sublime!

Life is a bubble floating on water
It might vanish in this cruel game
Better do the deed in the present
Leaving behind a name and fame!

(Inspired by HW Longfellow's "Psalm Of Life" I once read long time back)
