Shadows leave imprints
Of things
Tossed on the brink
Of beginning and end
Like sun's movement
Those applique images
They come and go quickly
Sow seeds of pondering
Why must it trigger tears
I have cast away years
Some say I daydream a lot
Why does it mean so much
They aren't aware of priceless things
Brought on by dreams,
Mysterious imagery
Black and white ... like shadows.
