Remembering Them All...

Every Indian loves to sing Jana-gana-mana, Every Indian longs to salute the tricolour, Everywhere functions, celebrations, speeches Exhorting all to safeguard the hard won freedom. The day looks so bright, beautiful and glorious… Gen next may not know sacrifices of forefathers, Kalapani and tortures galore preserved in museums and pictures, Did the perpetrators ever regret? Known for large-heartedness we excuse enemies, Welcome unabashedly aggressors, tolerate terrorists, Feed and guard killers, advising countrymen to serve the nation selflessly. Once a year at least let tears of gratitude wash Feet of martyrs, lending peace to the departed, Act diligently developing fraternal feelings Like all those that embraced gallows with a smile. Slogans of Bolo Swantantra Bharat ki Jai Reach the sky seeking blessings of real heroes!
