Here For A Long Season

  It's sweet and charming
this landscape of nature
fools gold shimmers in its seas
scattered shells lay on it's shore
like diamonds looking back at me

In this long season wandering
in search of something pure
in this attack of reverie
I am the man who opens doors
I am the change in all I see

Until I find myself waking
and then I want to sleep once more
because I find I'm just the dream
searching in mortal form for me.
