An Ode To A Dream

I can’t part with you, Dream!
No, no, no I wont, my choicest companion,
My priced possession.
Just yesterday you appeared to be a redundant thorny bush at my doorstep.
I had a mind to uproot you,
Compromise, lead a drab and nauseating life devoid of you.
For, I always knew the beauty you withhold too.
Now, I can see a tiny bud struggling hard to render meaning to the whole entity.
Dear, I will nurse you, tender you, nourish you,
Cherish your materialization.
The way I did till I encountered struggle, pitfalls and failures.
I can’t break the eternal bond.
Come reside in my eyes.
I promise you-
The last drop of my crimson red blood.
