a dense glob
jams days
a shadowy spectre
eclipses light
a weighty void
slivers nights
into starless shards
lack-lustre faith
haunts the periphery
of dreams
laughter derisive
lampoons hope
caricatured joy
embraces shallowness
decanted
into agonized words
it moulds itself
into a poem
