Detachment

by Prof. Siva Prasad Peddi

Deep in my soul
Feelings that live
Joy, euphoria and ecstasy
Adulation, amity and love
Sorrow, despair and torment
Enmity, hatred and betrayal
The clash among them
Leaves it in solitude
To weep all alone
