Lonely

by Debalina Roychowdhury

The evening creeps stealthily... My mind is full of sound and foam. Some forgotten steps move to blaze the shingle there. To escape, I run to knock the casement of silence and calm, Long ago, I lost my breathing balm -- Oh! It is so different being lonely than solitary.
