Journey

by Dr. Madhavi Godavarthy

Now I shall go
To get it back
I left it behind
On a moonless night
But something tells me
It’s still there….
May be hiding itself
Amidst the flowers of spring
Or among the hues of the rainbow
Or in an oyster
Deep within the sea
Wherever it is
I will find it...my dream
To give it wings
To touch the heavens.
