Her Love

love tapped at her window late last night,
but being tired, she ignored his calls...
just pulled her warm duvet over her head,
and tried to sleep as soundly as she could

but he was not one to give up easily
sometime later she felt a tad warmer,
but she was much too sleepy to really care,
until she felt her face was being licked

she woke up to find two black shiny eyes,
staring ever so affectionately,
her little dog Love was feeling cold too,
he just wanted to share her warm duvet...
