Before I say “good morning”
Through my open window
She smiles the mellow pearls
Hugs me
With a promise to live a day

A day to live
Many miles to go
Before I sleep
Buddy, just have faith in my words
That I now have a day to live

Being a bud of innocence
Flower of love
Gift of passion
Fire of pyre
I just have a day to live

In the speechless silence of love
Weeping tears of blood
Stooping down to hell
With saddles on my back
Fetters on my feet
I learn by heart that
Those would break and kill me
At the end of the day
That only I have a day to live

Born in the tweeting morning
Brought up in the warmth of
Love of afternoon
Married in the wistful evening
Dead before the night ends
A distance of furlongs
I just have few hours of a day to live

Naked and weeping in her arms
Empty handed but donning the truth of
“Come alone and go alone”
“I”- a lonely bird
Have to go off the horizon
Just have moments of a day to live

Hug me
Love me
Feel my heart for you
Before hard Sun
Burns and melts
My being
Withering and falling
I am flower for a day
Born a slave
Worship and love
You as my king
